Best Efflorescence Cleaner and Remove - Zido

Zido efflorescence and mineral remover.

Directions – Pool tile or stone application.

Pool Efflorescence Cleaner and remover

1: Applying Zido to the tile.

After putting on all your PPE. The first step would be to apply Zido to all the tiles that contain mineral deposits and efflorescence. After continuing the process around the pool, continue with the process one more time removing the rest of the bulk. One bottle usually covers a 10’x 12’ pool depending on the thickness of efflorescence.

2: Benaz – residue remover.

Ceramic tile under a microscope looks like the Grand Canyon. Mineral deposits go deep into the surface of the tile and Zido removes all the efflorescence but some minerals are left behind. Benaz is the second step to perfection bringing back that lush look of your pool tile. Simply apply Benaz on the applicator and massage the solution into the tile, working only 4-6 tiles at at time before rinsing.

3: Sealing the surface.

Now that your pool tile looks great again, its time to protect it. Deep clean all the tile with Imperia. You may notice some grout is missing because the efflorescence destroyed it, in this case we formulated Sentura to repair all grout. If regular grout is used, efflorescence will grow back, Sentura is a two part epoxy which is easy to apply. Next all the grout and Sentura will be sealed by Caponi – a 2 part pigmented titanium grout sealant.
