Marble and natural stone regardless of the finish is still porous and is susceptible to dirt penetrating the surface and staining. One type of Marble is used in these photos, but all literature refers to all marble stone types. The first step to a quality stone restoration is preparation. Imperia Deep Cleaner is the main marble cleaner use to clean the stone and grout. It’s a strong alkaline cleaner that removes all oils and impurities. Benaz is a light acidic base that is used to eliminate the heavy bar soap, which cannot be removed by Imperia in shower environments. Benaz is not recommended for the polished stone as it may etch the surface.

Approved sealers for
polished & honed marble.

Marble stone is a porous and needs to be sealed periodically. There are two types of pFOkUS solvent based sealants, which are approved for polished marble stone. The both achieve different appearances – Naturalo sealer (natural look) and Enhancio sealer (enhanced look). With UV resistant features, these sealers also protect against organic stains including oils, grease and beverages. They can be used either interior or exterior and from wet to dry settings. They both are very easy to apply and can be maintained with pFOkUS cleaners.

Choosing the correct marble cleaner and sealer
for dull marble stone.

Dull marble stone is porous and normally found with tumbled and antiqued style. Most straight cut marble will have a honed finish, if not polished. Celine is not applicable for the honed or polished stone. Marble needs to be sealed periodically depending on the sealant used. There are three types of solvent based sealants, which are approved for dull marble. They all achieve different finishes – natural, enhanced and topical (low & high sheen) appearance. The sealers are all UV resistant and protect the stone and grout against organic stains. They can be used indoors, outdoors and in wet areas.

Imperia Maintenance Cleaner is the best cleaner formulated to protect all type finishes and sealed marble stone. Valore formulated with H2O2 at 6.94%, assists in killing the mold and mildew naturally, when used at the recommended rate. It is blended with the same molecular technology as Imperia Maintenance. Valore has different features intended for showers, from streak free benefits to water spots etching prevention for the glass and stone. It’s spray and walk away feature, uses water from the shower to help clean.
