How to measure
the shower glass thickness?
The glass will have a tapered edge, so always measure to the farthest points on the side of the glass. Since the tape measure has a metal clip attached to the end, its always better to start measuring at the 1” or 2“ mark. The most popular glass size is 3/8,” so your tape measure would read 1-3/8” because you started at the 1” mark.

Measuring the sweep.
Pressure holds the sweep on the glass, so remove it by pulling it off. With a metal clip at the end of the tape measure, it’s always better to start measuring at the 1” or 2“ mark. If the size is 3/8,” the tape measure would read 1-3/8” because you started at the 1” mark.
