Quality cleaners for travertine stone.
On all types of the stone finishes.

One type of travertine is used in these photos, but all literature referring to all types of the stone. The first step to restorting travertine stone is preparation. Imperia Deep Cleaner is the main cleaner use to clean the stone and grout. It’s a strong alkaline cleaner that removes oils and impurities. Benaz is used on travertine when heavy bar soap is present in showers, which Imperia cannot remove.

Approved sealers for polished Travertine.

Travertine stone is porous and needs to be sealed periodically. There are two types of solvent based sealants, which are approved for polished Ttravertine stone. They both achieve different finishes – Naturalo sealer (natural look) and Enhancio sealer (enhanced look). All pFOkUS sealers protect against organic stains including oils, grease and beverages. They can be used on the interior or exterior, from dry to wet settings and are very easy to apply.

Honed travertine stone is also porous and needs to be sealed periodically depending on the type of sealant applied. Honed differs than polished, the stone can take a topical sealer giving a high or low sheen. There are three types of solvent based sealants, which are approved for honed travertine while all achieving different finishes – natural, enhanced and topical (low & high sheen) appearance. Imperia Maintenance Cleaner is a cleaner formulated to protect all type finishes and pFOkUS’ sealers. It is fused with a hydrophilic molecular sealer, which bonds to the sealer instantly and creates a barrier preventing stains from bonding to the sealer. Valore Maintenance Cleaner is the cleaner formulated to protect travertine and pFOkUS sealants. Valore is blended with H2O2 at 6.94% that assists in killing the mold and mildew naturally, when used at the recommended rate. It has the same molecular technology as Imperia Maintenance. Valore also includes a streak free feature, while prevents water spots from etching the glass and the sealant. It will extend the sealants’ lives significantly and reduces the need of scrubbing.
